We've been at this for more than 40 years, which in this trade means we've seen a unit's whole life cycle: new, under factory warranty, out of warranty, discontinued by the maker, and finally rare enough that we're one of the only people left who can put it back on the bench and actually fix it. That kind of depth doesn't come from a weekend course. It comes from doing it since these classics were still under warranty.

We aren't a car-audio installer, and we don't want to be confused with one. Nobody here does subwoofers, remote start, window tint or dash cams. This is an OEM factory radio repair, restoration and retrofit shop, full stop. We work on the head units, PCMs and amplifiers your car, motorcycle or classic actually came with, plus the Becker-brand radios that made this shop's name in the first place: Europa, Mexico and Grand Prix, tube through fully digital.

Becker built its reputation on the marques that also built it: Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, BMW and Ferrari, and for a long time, Rolls-Royce. Those relationships run deep enough that we still keep separate department inboxes for a couple of them, so a Ferrari question or a BMW question lands with someone who actually works that marque every day. We'll tell you plainly where our coverage stops, too: no individual repair service on Audi units, and we no longer repair Mark Levinson amplifiers. Honesty about limits is part of the same 40 years.

We return calls and emails within 24 hours, and current turnaround on a repair is 7 to 10 business days once your unit is on our bench. Most of what comes through this shop never sees the owner in person. Units ship in from collectors, dealers and specialty mechanics all over the country and overseas, get worked in the same order they arrive, and ship back out the same way they came in.
