Bluetooth and AUX Retrofits for Factory Radios, 1954 to 2012
A hard-wired module goes in behind your original radio, not in place of it, so the faceplate, knobs and dial stay exactly as the factory built them. We've matched modules to classic Becker, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Porsche, Ferrari and Sprinter radios across six decades of dashboards.
Chapter 01
A module behind the faceplate, not a new radio
Adding Bluetooth or an AUX jack to a factory radio does not mean tearing it out for a double-DIN replacement. We wire a small module into the radio's own circuit from behind the faceplate, so the knobs, the dial and the original look stay exactly as built. From the driver's seat, nothing changes except that a phone or a music source now has somewhere to pair or plug in.
That work happens on the bench, not in the dash. We pull the radio, open the case, and find where the accessory or aux line actually runs inside that specific chassis before we hard-wire the module to it. A 1960s Becker Europa and a 2005 Comand head unit get to the same result through two completely different paths, which is why the module and the mounting point change by radio even when the outcome looks identical from the driver's seat.

Coverage by era
We fit these retrofits to classic analog radios built from 1954 to 1980, Becker aftermarket radios from 1998 on, and Mercedes-Benz single-DIN radios from 1981 to 2002 and Comand units from 2000 to 2009.
The same work covers BMW 5, 6 and 7 Series radios from 2004 to 2010, Porsche CR, CDR and PCM units from 1996 to 2008, Ferrari radios from 2000 to 2008, and Sprinter radios from 2004 to 2012. If your radio falls anywhere in that range, there's a decent chance we've already built the module for it.

Sound, price and who to ask
A Porsche CR210, CDR210, CDR23 or CDR24 Bluetooth hard-wire retrofit runs $125. Bluetooth audio and call quality depend on the module, the phone and the source, so we'll tell you honestly if a unit is a stronger AUX candidate than a Bluetooth one rather than promise more than the hardware can actually deliver.
