Signs the Amplifier, Not the Head Unit, Is the Problem

A failing amplifier tends to show up differently than a failing head unit. If the display lights up, the radio changes stations or tracks normally, and Bluetooth pairs fine, but the sound itself is distorted, cutting in and out, or missing from one channel or one set of speakers entirely, that pattern points to the amplifier rather than the head unit driving it. A head unit that's actually failing usually shows problems with the display, the buttons, or the controls themselves before it ever touches sound quality.

Rolls-Royce Logic 7: Repaired. Mark Levinson: Not Anymore

On Rolls-Royce, we still repair the Logic 7 system, head unit repair runs around $400 and a Logic 7 amplifier repair around $650. We no longer repair Mark Levinson amplifiers. Every repair we do carries our standard 1-year limited warranty, and certain amplifier repairs carry an extended 3-year warranty on top of that, reflecting how much more involved an amplifier rebuild usually is compared with a head unit repair. Extended warranty options are also available if you want coverage beyond the standard term, and we can go over what applies to your specific amplifier before the repair starts.
